This jeep tour allows you to explore the rich
& diverse culture of Ladakh. The unique culture and amazing
natural environment of Ladakh have drawn travelers to this region for
enturies.
Downstream from Khalsi to the north-east of Leh
along the lower Indus region is inhabited by a distinctive group of
Dard people known as Brokpa. They have preserved their unique form of
Buddhism, which is mixed with the pre-Buddhist animistic religion, BON.
They are a fascinating people who are a very different from other
Ladakhis, with their strong Aryan looks, language and clothing.Apart
from this you visit some of the famous monasteries on this side of
Ladakh and visit a village, which is famous for producing some of the
best metal work in Ladakh. The Monastery at Lamayuru is one of the most
immediately striking in Ladakh. Its position on top of a beautifully
eroded crag, complete with rock pinnacles and caves, gives it an almost
fairy-tale quality as it stands over the small village below.
Alchi built in the 11th century is a treasure
trove of early Buddhist art in the Kashmiri tradition. A style quite
different from the Tibetan art found in Ladakh’s other monasteries.

DAY 01: ARRIVAL DELHI :
Upon arrival at Delhi airport meet to our representative, drive to
hotel for rest of the night.
DAY 02: DELHI-LEH (FLIGHT)
Morning transfer to domestic airport, take flight to Leh, on arrival
meet to our local staff, transfer to hotel, rest of the time leisure
for acclimatization, late afternoon walk in the Leh market. Overnight
at hotel.
DAY 03: LEH-PHYANG-LIKIR-LAMAYURU
(DRIVE)
Morning drive to Lamayuru, en route visit Phyang and Likir Monasteries,
on arrival at Lamayuru check in local guest house. Rest of the time
visit the monastery.
DAY 04: LAMAYURU-DHA-HANU: (DRIVE)
Morning commence back drive to Khalsi from where the road divert on the
right bank of Indus river to Dha Hanu village. Upon arrival chek in
local house or guest house. Rest of the time visit Dha & Hanu
village the culture is unique, the man and woman decorated their head
with the fresh flowers.
DAY 05: DHA-HANU-RIZONG-ALCHI-BASGO
(LOCAL HOUSE) (DRIVE):
Morning drice back to Basgo, en route visit Alchi and Likir
monasteries. on arrival at Basgo, check in local house, in the night
enjoy the local food with local cusien and witness the folk dance, song
and wine.
DAY 06: BASGO-LEH:
Morning drive back to Leh en route visit Spituk Monastery and Hall of
Fame. on arrival check in hotel. Rest of the time leisure for
individual activities.
DAY 07: LEH-DELHI (FLIGHT)
Very early morning transfer to airport at Leh, On arrival at Delhi meet
to our representative, drive to city, rest of the time visit Half Day
Old Delhi sightseeing visit Red Fort, Jama Masjid, Raj Ghat (Gandhi
Memorial) Overnight at hotel.
DAY 08: DELHI DEPARTURE :
Morning leisure at hotel, afternoon start New Delhi sightseeing, visit
Qutab Minar, Humayuns Tomb, Lotus Temple, and drive through the
Government Buildings (India Gate, Presedent Palace and Indian
Parliament) after dinner, in time dep. transfer to international
airport.
